This project involved the design and creation of a functional Gundam-inspired backpack, done in collaboration with fashion designer Leo Li.
Provided with a strong concept design from the client, my role as the sole engineering consultant was to convert that design into a 3D CAD model to be manufactured.
Through Fusion 360, I refined the dimensions of the backpack, before tackling more challenging features like the foldable and detachable wings. Upon completion of the CAD, the manufacture was outsourced with the final product received and painted by the client.
